AP Most Valuable Player
  • Matthew Stafford (QB) — Los Angeles Rams
--> I'll go with Stafford on this one and then Maye for Super Bowl MVP.

Stafford wins.

Wild swings between Maye and Stafford up until the final weeks of the season.

Congrats Stafford backers. And anyone else who hit an award future.

That Herbert first-place vote is silly.

I watched him all season pretty closely since he was my fantasy qb. He was no where close to what Stafford and Maye were. Not even close.

The guy who voted for Hebert went public and explained his vote.
Sam Monson...

Although I don’t agree with his argument I commend him for going public and giving his stance on the matter.

Tank would Maye/Stafford have tied if this guy happened to vote first place Maye?

Sounds like maybe he voted Stafford second place (not sure on this) so maybe it’s a moot point.

A lot of permutations to consider but, this guy's vote really stood out.
Hebert didn't even make top 5.

here’s a NY Post comment from a guy trying to make sense of everything.

Interesting. If that's the case then....
  1. Sam Monson vote didn't impact anyting. If he had left Hebert out of the mix, everyone moves up one and the results don't change. Stafford wins.

  2. The people who voted for Allen shouldn't be dissed. I don't think he had an MVP year but he was definitely in the top 3-4 so I can't argue with their vote.

Yeah that’s what I was saying/wondering earlier. If he voted Stafford number two then Stafford still wins regardless. (I think 😂)

Regardless, they should pull his vote

I can maybe understand a case for Josh Allen, but one for Herbert is ridiculous

You could use his argument for a few other QBs too but nut at some point you have to be realistic
