I was playing in the Bookmaker casino five years ago a few days before the PGA. Having great luck winning $20 here, $10 there and not losing any of my principal balance.
I posted in another thread, you cannot bet big money on pre tournament golf winners. Especially if you don’t play favs like me. It’s like trying to find a straw in a garbage dump. It’s next to impossible. I’ll usually take $100 and bet my top pick, then I’ll take $150 and spray 4 or 5 others. Not every week. Many weeks I bet no one pre tournament. In 25 years I’ve probably cashed 15 winners. And 6 or 7 of fifteen were Masters and The Open winners. Have always had good luck in both.

I said I wasn’t going to check anything but when I saw this post I did. Had no idea Rose would even extend the lead more. I’ll spray a couple guys right behind him just to cover myself. Such long odds it’s a no brainer.
