Yes, make it and I will play! Lets do this Tankster, every single game they play this year
We should go series by series. They play 4 series this season.

We bet on who wins more games in each series and when there is an even number of games, if there is a tie, we use total runs scored in the series.

3 games May 29-31
3 games Jul 3-5
4 games Jul 27-30
3 games Aug 14-16

Lets do it and we can spice it up as well, we can even do a little something like who scores more runs in the games too, or not.

Bob Gibson and Tim McCarver mound visit during 1968 World Series. Tim McCarver: “I remember one time going out to the mound to talk with Bob Gibson. He told me to get back behind the plate where I belonged, and that the only thing I knew about pitching was that I couldn’t hit it.”

The #STLCards expect an $18M–$20M annual hit to local TV revenue under the new MLB-run setup, per St. Louis Business Journal.

That's on top of an earlier $18M reduction the Cardinals already agreed to with their prior broadcaster to help them survive financial trouble — bringing total losses from the original ~$70M/year deal to nearly $40M.

The regional broadcaster that was cobbling together MLB teams is going bust. Its someone tied to Fanduel broadcasting.

Almost every team is not comign back to MLB for broadcasting. MLB head office has goals of consolidating every team back with them by end of 2028. They think it will allow them to get a better deal from the networks.

Its very interesting how this stuff works.

Cardinals fans are the best in baseball and most loyal. It doesn't matter where they are broadcasted ,they will have the viewers, Tankster.

Even though Oli is doing an excellent job, would you like to see Yadi as the head coach of the St. Louis Cardinals next season?

Cardinals Opening Day 26 Man Roster Update 2-5

Starting Pitchers (5): Matthew Liberatore(L), Dustin May, Michael McGreevy, Richard Fitts, Kyle Leahy

Bullpen (7): JoJo Romero(L),Ryne Stanek, Riley O’Brien, Matt Svanson, Justin Bruihl(L), Ryan Fernandez, Matt Pushard

Catchers (3): Ivan Herrera, Jimmy Crooks, Pedro Pages

Infielders (6): Alec Burleson, JJ Wetherholt, Masyn Winn, Nolan Gorman, Thomas Saggese, Jose Fermin

Outfielders (5): Victor Scott II, Jordan Walker, Nathan Church, Nelson Velazquez, Bryan Torres

Injured: Hunter Dobbins, Lars Nootbaar

Last 2 On Roster: Pushard, Torres

Last 5 Cuts: Matt Koperniak (OF), Cesar Prieto (IF), Andre Pallante (RHP), Gordon Graceffo (RHP), Andre Granillo (RHP)

Obviously a lot can happen between now and even late March, but I think this is where it would shake out if it needed to be handed in TODAY.

Dobbins is coming off of the injury so I’m not sure if he’ll be available, and I feel like Palante should be there somewhere, but I guess I have him being the first call up from Memphis.

I don’t think Pozo will force his way onto the roster, unless one of the three catchers are injured.

I think they like the versatility of Fermin enough where he’d get a spot over someone like Prieto.

That’s where I’m at currently. I still wouldn’t be surprised to see Jojo Romero traded, which would allow another one of the lefty arms (Naugton, Raquet, Shuster, or Zimmerman) on the roster..

It’s nowhere near the team we’ve come accustomed to seeing, but I think they’re going about the rebuild the correct way, and 2026 will be a huge learning year for most of the team.
