Yeah that's the thing the doctors can have them but they don't allow tatients to be seen with them

Same thing here in Florida

About a month ago someone told me that the local sheriff (who I know) went to see the doctor in town and he wasn't allowed to take his gun into the room

He didn't like that but had no choice

There are a lot of businesses like that.
They open carry but no one else can come in with a weapon.

I guess thats the priviledge of being a private business.

We were used to being deployed on streets or the city proper before for police visibility for this main reason - effective deterrence.
