Well they still gotta figure out the situation at first and I'd love to see them go for Freddie Freeman...although Olson and Rizzo are supposed to be in the mix as well

Also, like that IKF move as part of the deal....seems like both sides won

Seems like a typical Yankees move.

They get an expensive former star at the end of his career and give up younger talent. If Donaldson has a little more gas in the tank (or his veins) he can help them compete for a World Series this year. If Donaldson is washed up or gets hurt, they'll just stash him on IR and buy another slugger.

It's an interesting move for the Twins too as it gives them above average talent at 2 positions... also, Sanchez strikes me as the kind of guy who might pull a Sonny Gray and do better outside of the pressure of New York. There's no doubting his power, but he just seemed to wilt when the fans/team lost faith in him.
