Having played for Real Madrid, and tasted the champagne of many Trophy celebrations, he will take over as manager next season. He took a mid table club like Bayer Leverkuesen and made them German champions , ending Bayern's 11 straight title run. He was hotly pursued by several big clubs like Liverpool and Bayern Munich only a year ago, and chose to stay another season in Germany. Real Madrid has a wealth of talent , and income ( Approx. $1.2 billion ) and suits his playing style to a tee. Its a marriage that could see the Pride of Spanish football restored to its recent glory. The Ch League final is May 31st , and next years prices should follow days later. He is a winner and worth backing at the right price imo

Wow.. Check this out:

"according to Kicker (h/t SPORT), Real Madrid are paying a fee between €12 and €15 million in order to secure his release from Bayer Leverkusen."

I have never heard of a manager commanding that sort of transfer fee. If he brings trophies back to Madrid , no one will ever mention the money

The Club spokesman said he will earn between $7 - $9 million per season.
That's pretty good. Thought it might be more.
Would you say that's reasonable consider what these guys are raking in?

Diego Simeone $33.5 million
Pep Guardiola $26.8 million
Mikel Arteta $20.2 million
Stefano Pioli $20.03 million

Wow

He looks like a major bargain by those standards. I wonder if he got a signing bonus ? Incentive packages ?
