i'm taking no sides here. these umpires are sensitive but on the other hand they are dealing with literal crying millionaire manbabies whining and bitching. so they can just carry on and finish the game.

I think some umpires are doing their job and not pushing the issue too hard and then some umpires are being a$$holes and abusing the power.

I can't believe they let that umpire continue to have job. Clearly he was trying tinstigate a confrontation. How can you have an umpire that is supposed to be impartial with that kind of approach in a game?

Not sure that's the proper reference to an anti trust issue, but, Manfred initiated this after the Bsuer/ Cole confession.

There's always been a little leeway w letting pitchers play w the ball, but some took it too far w enhanced pine tar, stick grip tape, Vaseline, etc

I don't think it needs to be every inning,but if you see how bad today's baseball is, you'd wonder as well why these clowns can't hit....

Very true statement. It definitely varies umpires to umpire in the way that they handle certain situations.
