We walked from Strat to Fremont street at night one year during March Madness.

Yeah... Won't do that again. We were hit up by dozens of homeless people and people stoned out of their mind on meth. Scary as hell. Fortunately we were a group of 5 guys and no one pressed the issue and threatened us with a knife or gun.

Still watching it but just want to add some commentary in between. Naked City which is right by the Stratosphere is pretty dangerous especially at night. The area passed the Stratosphere heading towards Fremont is not as bad as this guy is making it seem

If he didn't already cover it he should do a video on the mole people. Basically they live underneath the sewer system in Las Vegas. Mostly drug infested / homelessness

The area right back behind Bally’s /Horseshoe is not that bad. The stage door casino has dollar bottles and $5 shots. The Italian restaurant next to it called Batista's hole in the wall serves unlimited wine with the meal

Wasn't there a poster at SBR that lived in the Vegas underground (sewers/drainage ditches) for a while? I vaguely remember someone talking about it.

I don't know what it's like now, but when I lived in Vegas the area in between Paradise & Maryland from west to east and Flamingo & Desert Inn from south to north was pretty intense.

I lived across the street from that ghetto twice, once on DI and once on Maryland and saw some crazy stuff. I remember the very first day that I moved back to that area (in a gated highrise on Flamingo) my unofficial welcoming came in the parking lot of a supermarket. A panhandler snuck up on me from behind and shoved his forearm in front of my face It had large concentric circles of rotting flesh around a needle mark. He needed "5 bucks to go to the hospital."

Fortunately, for visitors the tourist areas are super safe. Cameras, security guards, beat cops, and undercovers are everywhere.
