Two very good pitchers going tonight.
I think Verlander has the edge on the Philllies' big hitters. He pitches exceptionally well and its even better vs left handers (0.163 vs 0.208) which should help against the batting of Harper/Schwarber. Nola isn't a slouch either and had a great outing vs Astros on Oct 3rd going 6.2 innings 0 ER, 2 H. Bottom line.... I think there is a better chance for Houston batters to get to Nola and Phillies bullpen than for the Phillies batters getting to Verlander.
Beside, Verland has the hotter wife. Its close but I'll give that edge to Verlander.
Astros bats should get to the Phillies bullpen in later innings if they don't get to Nola early.
This line is expensive at -164. I think there is some value on the RL -1.5 +144 but its pretty risky in playoff games that will likely be close.
Astros RL -1.5 +144 Bookmaker
