Seriously - the entire damn league better realize they have a brief popularity boost - just like so many sports experience in the Olympics. A persona has captured the national news attention and brought a spotlight to the sport. Thing is - the exposure won’t be around forever. Just like Michael Phelps - we will forget as the luster wears off.

She’s halfway through her 15 minutes - let her soak up the last few minutes and then snap back to reality. Most of what a women’s basketball player earns will come via NIL or other from overseas contracts - the WNBA salary structure will not likely boom this decade.

You know she won't do that because she's too good of a person. I mean look at the difference between her post-game interview after losing to SC vs Angel Reese's interview after losing to Iowa. Clark was talking about her team and making the sport better and showing young women what they can do.
