Hello


After sending lot of documentations(ID,ID In my hand,bill,bill in my hand,deposit methode screenshot,deposit methode screenshot shoving trasaction to WH)WH suspended account and now asking -PROOF OF INCOME.

How legality is this request?

I think there have been a few unfortunate consequences of the latest UK legislation.

This business of bookmakers asking for proof of income source is not reasonable. If the authorities want this type of information checked one central official agency with strict privacy conditions should have been enacted.

This has happened to me too. I proved to them I earned £3000 p/m after tax and they said it didn't warrant losing "so much" to them and my account remained suspended. I withdraw my £20,000 and after weeks of worry it finally cleared. I was also an elite customer with them, they just weren't happy that my "income" was enough and weren't interested that I was merely eating into affordable savings having already paid off my mortgage.

Thanks for that info.

I've never heard of a book wanting to know income to check if you could afford to lose as much as you have.

I thought the question was asked mostly to check for criminal funds being laundered through the book.
