Here's why it was cancelled.


The cancellation occurred as part of broader cost-cutting measures at Disney and National Geographic, including layoffs across Disney Entertainment Television. The show's cancellation was also preceded by the death of cast member, Captain Charlie Griffin, in a boating accident.
