So I just looked at some of yesterday's CBB games..

1. Purdue @ 21. Indiana . . why tf is the line EV ?? obv. Indiana won.

25. Auburn @ No.2! Tennessee. (9.5) . Auburn just tlost by 3

4. Alabama -10.5 @ LSU .... obviously LSU covered.


on a Saturday... from a bookie's point of view. those lines made sense to trap more public $.

1st of all I’m no expert at any sport. This is the 1st week I have really put time into handicapping NCAAB. These trap lines are baity & they will hook you in. You forgot to mention Virginia +2 @ VT.

I fell for that one myself. This is the time of year the bookie will hang these lines more than ever so you have to be careful, & not get hooked. The bait is fresh & chummy.

Great thread to point out this inefficiency in the market right now. I mean it’s not full proof these games are not gonna win 100%, but they win more than they lose. For example San Jose State last night was a PK at home versus Wyoming. I took the bait on that one and I fortunately won, but not too many scenarios like that took place yesterday.

Fordham +4.5 @ Richmond is fresh bait in the water. Richmond has dominated them at home in past years, so maybe that has something to do with this line, but Richmond has lost 4 straight and six against the spread. This smells like chum in the water to me. I’m passing on the game myself.

true, but high profile games are the ones that get the most action and $ wise.

my point is that books arent trying to lose on that. its shaded for public $ to get on the probable wrong side.

What would u guess the books on leaning on ? Ofc. Temple to cover... so i'm just going to take them.

Yeah I feel like the biggest liabilities in the sportsbooks those are the plays we need to find and play in the long run.
