Why is Bama +3000 or more to win Natty?

Seems like worst they could be in tomorrow’s playoff committee rankings is sixth.

If TCU and USC lose this weekend (a real possibility as neither line is more than 3 pts) doesn’t that likely put OSU and Bama in playoffs?

Bama would only be about a fg dog vs Georgia if they snuck in as the 4-seed. If they got by Georgia they’d be a TD or more fave vs anyone from the Big 10 in the title game.

What am I missing here? Seems like it might be worth $40-50 bucks.

I've read that TCU is in regardless of win or lose vs K-state. Why? K-state is a good enough opponent that a 1 loss TCU still makes it.

If Mich or Georgia lose, they are still in.
USC loses --> Ohio St is in.
