Why have the college playoff?

All they’re doing is stacking it with the two major conferences. It’s a bunch of bullshit because I think they warned they’ll start their own playoff if they’re not in it.

Look, the NCAA see the writing on the wall. B10 and SEC will take their s#it and start their own league if they are not giving everything they want. They will be bullies forever. The first time they feel shorted on the playoff picks, they will leave.

If they leave, the NCAA should ban all their sports from participating in NCAA games. How else are you going to stop them?

Kind of like how the Big 10 told Notre Dame either they are all in or be fuked a couple of decades ago when discussing a merger.

Notre Dame of course said they wanted “preferential” treatment when it came to revenue sharing with their valuable football team and decided to hold out. Think they regret that decision yet ? Probably not as they are too thick headed to accept playing a Big 10 schedule would guarantee them instant credibility every year and make them appealing once again to recruits.

Texas and to a lesser extent Oklahoma did that to the Big 12 a few years ago. The Big 12 caved and gave them preferential treatment. That is part of the reason why Texas A&M left (+SEC is a nice place to go).

After a few years, even the preferential treatment wasn't enough for them so they left anyway. The writing is on the wall. We will soon have tiered footbal leagues just like EPL.
