Absolutely - late 80s full of “soda alternatives” - this and NY Seltzer Co with all the celebrity owners…then came Mistic juice.

Mistic grape was great with Vodka in HS - rest of it was shit.

They are still around buddy said he got some from Costco a few months back. The best part is that they were basically pop that you could BS your parents to think they were buying you water.

Weren’t these things like $2 - at a time when a regular pop was $1 for a 16oz bottle ?

It’s funny you mention them - was just down at the funeral for a family member last week and I remember her working at the neighborhood newsstand where they sold this stuff.

Yea - we thought we were the shit when we managed to get a couple of bucks and headed to the newsstand on our bikes to buy one of these, packet of big league chew or some baseball cards and hang around the back checking out the magazines we weren’t supposed to be looking at. Good memories from adolescence.
