Anyone else think it’s just manufactured drama for benefit of financial interest ?
USA sends a couple of billion dollars worth of aircraft to Iran and blows up a few hundred million in bins on the side of some mountain in the desert where no one lives.
Iran in retaliation shoots a few bottle rockets off towards US housing in Iraq - threatening “severe consequences if the USA doesn’t back out.
USA now can justify spending a few trillion more in the name of “national defense” while cutting every social service to its people because those damn Muslims are threatening our way of life again. Iran of course threats to shut down the gulf and the risk premium and oil options jump as a result - benefiting Iran and every Arab neighbor who has looked at Iran like that crazy Uncle they want no connection with. USA can spend and pump more $$ without creating inflation problems and Iran rebuilds relations with its neighbors and Russia helping rebuild their economies and distracting the worlds eyes from Putin/Ukraine for a few days.
