Even though I live in Vegas and can get any food I want pretty much any time of the day. I voted for the Northeast area. When I was back in Jersey the food was just different. I don't know how to describe it but the quality was better

6-4-9-5 in my opinion

The issue with many regions is the food is a result of traditional make up of the population and population centers. That’s why 8 is so bad - what’s the German and Scandanavian descent there - ever hear anyone rave about food from either country ?

I mean big city anywhere I can get good Asian food - but if you like Asian - hard to argue the best in the USA is not in Cali or NYC as far as number of top places.

Southern food isn’t everyone’s cup of tea - but done right it’s delicious. Midwest is under rated in a lot of ways - not as many great places, but some of the best steakhouses around and solid diners everywhere.

Chicago with the cultural mix of Italian, Eastern European and Midwest cowboy plus the lighter fare of the Nordic influence in Minny/ Wisconsin coupled wirh the HUGE Thai, Hmong and African communities and their unique cusine. Cannot beat that combo with NY diversity or Southern Cook outs.

Chicago's Italian food doesn't even compare to New York's and New York's can't compare to Philly.

Chicago's is way overrated. Their sandwiches suck. Chicago's roast beef is the worst I've ever eaten.

Their deep dish isn't real pizza.

You actually think it compares to Philly when even New Yorkers will acknowledge Philly's superiority?

Fukkin nuts.

Here's a clue... the Midwest doesn't have the best of anything in this country.
