Haven't heard from poster @purplegrape and it doesn't come up in the autofill when tagging him, although I see it recognized it once I submitted the post.

Yeah, I figured that. No idea why. Notice nothing from BMR even when I directly ask.
Somehow my account got fukked when I got banned, which I was later told was for "name calling" but only after mods denied I was banned to several posters.
I saw most of that, some days after the events. Generally on XenForo forum software when an account is banned, suspended, or put on post review it automatically disables the member's PM function. On another forum where I was suspended and/or put on post review my settings were automatically changed so that I could receive PMs but I couldn't respond to them. The admin on that board then told members that I wasn't suspended and that I was ignoring PMs from other members. To be fair to him he wasn't aware of the setting but he should have checked before behaving the way he did. Denying you access to PMs here may not have been intentional and staff probably weren't aware of it. They're probably not able to change it either. Changes to user group settings requires admin level access at the least. Sometimes changes can require forum owner level access to make changes.

I think Wager mentioned he was going to look into the PMs, I never really pressed the issue and he probably didn't look.
It is what it is.
It's a shame Grapes is gone, they say multiple accounts but I bet that's just an excuse. There is likely more to that story, like there was to mine. Hopefully it's not a permanent thing with Grapes.
