The 149th Preakness Stakes are set to take place at Pimlico Race Course in Baltimore, and none other than Kentucky Derby winner Mystik Dan will headline the race.

Mystik Dan won the Derby's first three-horse photo finish since 1947 and is seeking a win in the second leg of the triple crown. Originally the morning-line favorite for the Preakness at 8-5, Muth was scratched from the race this week because of a fever, making Mystik Dan's journey to victory considerably easier.


The Kentucky Derby winner is now the morning line favorite at 5-2. San Felipe Stakes winner Imagination (6-1), Louisiana Derby winner Catching Freedom (6-1) and Tuscan Gold (8-1) round out the top four ahead of the eight-horse race.
