I was just reading through the Terms of Use at mybookie.ag. I found this:

• MyBookie does not accept wagers from professional gamblers. We cater to players looking for enhanced gaming experience and we do not allow wise guy action, syndicate players, sharp side movers, or players betting only proposition bets. We reserve the right to limit steam plays and wise guy action. If any of these activities occur, then all winnings will be considered illegitimate and the account will be terminated.

Is this just code for "action from long-term winners"?

I read they have confiscated funds from winning players. Don't have to be long-term winning players.

Right? The terms of use is essentially a contract between site and user. Can you imagine using "wise guy" to describe something in a contract? I'm not sure that's a proper legal term. Fortunately for them, they are the judge, jury, and executioner.

Exactly. I was thinking it must be gambler talk like "steam", "vig", "nickel/dime", but wasn't sure so that's why I made the thread. I'm gathering from your responses that no other books use this term, lol.

In a way I give credit to mybookie though. At least their terms tell you outright they will steal your money, unlike certain other books...

Yeah, just the opposite. Their mass marketing is intended to drown out the complaints and replace the small number of people they piss off with a ton of fresh blood, degenerate gamblers who will piss their money away.

You see it all the time. Someone will post a thread in some forum: "MyBookie Is Trying To Steal My Money", and there will be 15 people who reply things like "They've always paid ME." My neighbor is a good guy. He's only raped 2 women on our street and left the others alone.
