The Asian handicap number will split the difference between the two, using increments of .25 and .75 to bridge the gap between two lines that could cost quite a bit of juice on one end and be a difficult number to top on the other.
Why is the bet increased or decreased exactly by 0.25 in Asian handicaps? If you divide, let’s say, 1.50 / 2, it will be 0.75. But in Asian handicaps, if I'm getting everything right, the bets will actually be 1.25 and 1.75.
Why not 0.75 each?
