Wow...
  • The game looked like a lock with 8 minutes left, up by 14.
  • Then it looked finished with 3 minutes left up by 9.
  • Then it finished again, up by 6 with 42 seconds left.
Then it wasn't .
What an incredible collapse by Duke.
I said it earlier in the thread

Can’t believe they kept running that same inbounds play where no one was close to the ball

also as the announcer mentioned as aggressive as Houston was duke easily could have attempted the home run pass to Flagg for a layup

And no way Proctor should have had the ball late as a 60 percent free throw shooter

Only two guys who should have touched it were Kneupple and Flagg

Total collapse execution-wise

It's an overreaction.

Duke was never going to win that game. Many bettors go fooled.
That +220 was live I only wish I sprinkled some on it to go with my bet on the Houston spread. The only reason I didn't is because as much as I believed Houston could win that game I felt in the back of my mind Duke would win a close one and the 5 points would come in handy. They should have won that game but like I said in previous posts Houston is an older team and Duke in their losses has run into teams that are composed of upper classmen which makes a difference in March Madness.

Just before tip, I did exactly that... Houston +230.
But, the entire game, I was thinking it was wasted money.

I realize there were a dozen opportunities late for Duke that could have changed the outcome but, I think Houston's experience in close games throughout the year paid off. Duke's youngsters couldn't keep up with the late/close game pressure. I think you said this somehere on another post.
