She has hip dysplasia and her back legs have just given out. The past few months have been really bad. She scoots around in our room and we have a dog door so she does try to go out but it's gotten really hard these past few days. She hasn't been outside and we just know that unfortunately it's time.

One of the worst things you can do through.

Nearly all of us have had to do this, Bobby, so we know what you are feeling.

I've had several German Shepherds in my day, my favorite breed.

It's a sad time, for sure. Hopefully you'll stay in the game with a new family member once your period of grieving is over.

Sending our love out to you today, Bobby.

Take care, pal.

Very sorry to hear - it’s rough. No way around it.

All you can do is focus on the positives in my experience- remember what made them special and how much having them benefitted both of you.

And never say “I’ll never have another dog”. It can be a rough adjustment and sometimes it takes time - but in the end there are just way too many dogs out there waiting to be adopted who would love to have a family.

We have a Pomeranian as well that lives in our room basically. Not to mention her parents have chows and her brother-in-law has a chow as well and he's been staying over for a while so there's no shortage of dogs in the house 😂
