Before you could pull up to Wawa and order gas and either pay right there at the pump after you finish filling up, or go inside to grab some things and pay at the counter.

Now, because of sub human spooks taking off in their cars after they fill up with gas, Wawa has changed their gas policy to pre-pay.

So now, you have to pay first in order to get gas.

Thanks spooks, way to go.

You can't tell me these sub humans are civil or normal in any way.

You'll never convince me.

Sorry not sorry.

who the f*** is paying cash for gas?
I always do now.

A few years ago, Wawa and a few other major gas chains around here had a huge data theft case where credit card numbers were stolen.

We're talking millions of people. It was so big they called in the FBI to investigate.

Ever since then, cash for me.

Anyway, Archie you missed the point of the thread.

Policy changes affecting everyone because we have an entire group of society that are savages and barbaric.

This is directly because of THEM.

Surprised it lasted this long.

I know Sheetz hast done this for a long time - other large regionals don’t either to my knowledge.

These guys LOVE when you pay cash - saves the CC processing fee (which is usually more than their profit per gallon) AND means foot traffic into the store.

Even if you never buy a damn thing in the store (which is like saying you never gamble when you go into a casino - they know damn well the more times you come in / the higher the chance you are going to buy some of that high markup junk they sell) they are getting paid. Just like banner ad impressions - c-stores are paid based on the foot traffic/impressions they attract. Candy companies, soda companies, chip companies - they all pay.

Years ago I made $$ from marketing tobacco - of course eventually that went away mostly. But before I left I had deals with Coke, smaller deal with Pepsi, Mars and Hershey. Wasn’t huge for me - but I helped sign up some other stores and it was surprising what some grocery stores for example get paid for placement. Everything in prime placement isn’t there by accident - it’s paid placement. Merchandising is big $$.

Living in South Florida all my life. I’ve always had to prepay for gas. So no real issue here Philly.

They don't play down in South Florida man. Went to prepay in 1985 or 1986 down there In South Florida. Several years ago you could go north some to these small country road gas stations in GA they had non prepay. But that's gone now. Thanks to the fill me up and haul ass assholes.

It just amazes me how society keeps having to adjust itself for a race of savage criminals.

Here's the best part....

The woke leftist Democrat politicians here won't prosecute these scumbags even though they have them on video with their license plates clearly defined.

They know who these scumbags are but won't go after them.

That is society's problem in a nutshell.

A race of savage criminals aided and abetted by white woke leftist liberals.

After reading that, the term “compartmentalize” came to mind. Not saying you’re right or wrong though.

Oh I'm 100% right.

In Center City Philly, the mayor had to have a sit down with business owners to beg them to stop closing their stores and leaving the city because these savages kept looting their stores every weekend.

They told her to go f*** herself and left.

Center City Philly, with the greatest architectural City Hall building in the country, looks like a shambles thanks to these savages.

I had a manager at one of my jobs explain that you should keep your gas receipts after filling up. His learned early in life to do this and it paid off.

He told the story of filling his car up at a gas station and keeping the receipt. A couple blocks down the road he was pulled over by a cop and was under arrest for stealing gasoline. Apparently, the C-store called the cops saying he stole gasoline but, he had his receipt so the cop had to let him go.

Although its been years, this lesson paid off for me 6 months ago. I filled up but was charged, not only the gas I took, I was charged for the gas a guy filled up with on the opposite side of the pump too. The stations pumps and CC readers were apparently FUBAR.

I had to call the gas station corporate office and sent copies of my receipt as proof. They reviewed the receipt and video footage and refunded me the $80.

Philly has the hood section and it's a rough neighborhood. I've been through there I know.. Driving through you see the fucking garbage bags on the side of the street everywhere. Damn drug addiction everywhere it's just Dad. Then you see this very nice looking building and your like wtf. It's the Philadelphia Pennsylvania federal reserve. Many armored car trucks with guys with machine guns standing outside protecting the cash from the hood rats.

Wow. Very smart and very lucky, Tank.

Good thing you got a good head on your shoulders. It paid off for you.

I don't know how I would have reacted. Being accused of something you didn't do, then being placed under arrest for it, would not sit well with me.

Years ago, there was a section in Philly even worse.

It was actually considered the most dangerous hood in the USA for years.

They called it "The Badlands."

It was a section of North Philly that was so dangerous, the cops would do 3 car sweeps because they were afraid and knew a 1 car patrol wasn't enough.

If you were white and ended up in that neighborhood somehow, you were definitely going to die there. Zero chance of making it out of there.

Reminds me of the Miami riots in over town and liberty city. Lot's of people died unnecessarily. Street shit

Slightly off topic but in the same vein it amazes me now when going into department stores like Target or drug store chains like Walgreens or CVS to see most of the stuff under lock and key.

How does a person shop in these places nowadays? Every time I want to purchase a particular item I have to ask a store clerk? I am from a different era. This is just insane. People make me sad .Honestly I usually end up walking out the door unless I desperately need the item.

All these dudes on drugs go in and clean house on certain products they really don't care what it is if they can resell it to get their fix.
