When the DHL truck would pull up to my apartment building. I knew they were delivering a payout from an overseas book. Circa 2004.

Always have fond memories when I see a rare DHL vehicle these days….

The checks sometimes my bank would not take them because they were from Canada. Huge fiasco. Probably circa 05-07 I would think neteller was around 2004

TD Bank takes those checks no problem.

Yea - I remember DHL. Still around these days I think.

Didn’t they acquire Airborne Express (and before then Purolator Courier) (sp?)

Those guys KNEW they were delivering “something good” based on the recipients and their reactions.

On the other end of the scale - nothing like looking out the window and seeing a Homeland Security van just sitting there.

There are a lot of DHL branches here in CR... though I never tried to use them.. not sure why but I always think that their service is expensive, especially in sending packages to other countries.
