yea i was rushing a little. I should have talked more about the Djokovic story.

This is Djokovics 1st US Open since covid. The last US Open was when he was DQ for hitting the ball women in the throat. This is his 1st appearance in USA in 2+ years.

Djokovic has the record for most ever master 1000 titles, and last week when he won cincy against Alcaraz, he went to the ground celebrating like he won a grand slam. It means everything to Novak winning this events especially when he was banned unjustly

Novak's heart and passion for the sport and being dominant and continuing to win shines through when he interviews, when he practices, and when he plays. He went through 10 years of being the villain and a lot of times still plays that role. Crowd support is more on alcaraz then Djokovic. but crowds are slowing turning for him and respecting him.

You have to respect the work ethic, longevity and persistence, the heart. You can use any adjective to describe him.

joker just wants it more than everyone else. It means more than anything else. This grand slam would be 3 years of unjust towards him validating him as the GOAT

Alcaraz has match point 6-5 and Djokovic serves plus 1 down the line. Such a point to hold the match or else Alcaraz wins that title and the whole conversation changes last 2 weeks

Alacaraz can beat the best, he has proven it. He can beat Djokovic in 3/5, he has proven it. This again would be the marquee must watch 4-5 hour match. Also week 1 of NFL season haha. US Open finals is always Week 1 NFL Sunday

Alacaraz has a lot to prove and continue to prove and every match against Djokovic is another step closer to his legacy.

Djokovic played and lost in 2021 finals, after the DQ incident. He will probably win again, the men's field is fairly weak overall.

Women is a joke, swiatek is shaking like a leaf in almost every match. Mentally she's as weak as they come, guaff hottest by a mile. Sabalenka is great, beats herself, others rarely beat her.
