Yes, a lot of people can relate. You can feel the passion of the song when you listen to Country songs. It is all about the lyrics.

As for blacks inventing country music I'm gonna have to do a little research on that ?

I grew up in housing projects & other parts of town where it had a " sketchy " reputation so to speak .

Also lived in some nice areas of town too ..... But I digress
I never heard " Country Music " coming from the boom-boxes/radios of any black person growing up nor at their houses .

Interesting & I'm going to read more about Blacks & the history of Country Music
