The fact they serve the shit with blood sausage and baked beans is enough to turn me off of an English breakfast.
Never understood - food is supposedly so bad in England - but they have all these celebrity chefs they import over here.
Personally - preferred Ireland over the UK food wise - but found plenty of decent places to eat throughout the UK years ago. Germany gets a bad reputation too - but some of its damn good.
France outside of Paris is very good - Paris is a bit too pretentious for my unrefined pallet. Southern Italy is by far the leader though.
The US food has more "stuff" in it to make it taste better.
That's one of the reasons why Americans have a shorter lifespan than most other developed countries by about 4 years.
It takes under 10 minutes to make oatmeal from scratch with any fruit you want to put in it. It will taste better and be healthier than the packaged stuff. No sugar or "natural flavouring" necessary.
