Some uber drivers may be getting 10% backpay for the three years 2014-2017.
With all the rules NY has implemented on Uber/Lyft I bet the cost is about the same as a cab now.
@BobbyFK how does uber/lyft rates compare to Vegas cab rates?
Generally speaking with the exception of the premium Uber/Lyft UberX is always going to be cheaper than a cab. Even with a fixed rate from the airport Uber is still cheaper but sometimes it is more inconvenient on the customer side especially here in Vegas. For example if you go out the front door of the hotel cabs are sitting there waiting for you whereas if you want to grab an Uber you have to go to a special area. Each hotel is different where they have that area and it’s not as convenient as grabbing a cab. So in some instances even though Uber may be a little bit cheaper than a cab it’s sometimes easier just to grab a cab

Companies beating their employees/contractors out of money is a sorry bunch. Besides Rape, Murder or abusing kids/elderly that's about as low as it gets.
Sorry sak of sh!t to do that!
First time I went to LV was 1988, we took a cheap Limo to the hotel. 4 of us split it can't imagine a taxi being much cheaper. I don't remember the exact price but it was cheap.
Many years ago, we were staying at MGM and the cab driver took us from the airport past Boulder Station on the way to the hotel. Said it was the quickest route to avoid traffic.
