why do people keep trying to bring drugs through an airport

I'm not sure he brought the drugs through the airport. It sounds like he has some drug charges form another state (TX?, MIN?). The Miami police just happened to be the ones to pick him up since the charging entity (from another state) likely had his name flagged on US flight manifests.

I'm expecting he'll be extradited to wherever the charges are filed or release on bond.
