1. Ok yesterday was at my local bank doing business. As I'm leaving walk by local cop chatting with employee. Approaching first thought delivery person nope a cop on a Segway. Just thinking WTF do you do on a Segway as a cop
?...patrol the streets?...chase down criminals?
2. Taking a train into the city for a day out. Go to my seat and observe a woman kneeling on a rug at the other entrance in the aisle. Praying I suppose. I'm all for religious freedom but really is it really that necessary on a train in the aisle? Anyway conductor did ask her nicely where are you sitting?

Most cops probably cant even chase down average people running away for distance

only reason why cops take them down is numbers. They call dispatch who sends 4-5-6 more cars and 10 more guys

1 on 1 cops have very little advantage but 10 on 1 is how they win

I don't know when I saw him it just struck me as looking so silly and perhaps impractical. I sure was tempted to ask him some wiseass questions but I had to catch a train.
