Curious - how many BMR’ers have joined one of the class actions vs DraftKings/FanDuel/ect.?

Basically 2 classes each suing:

- gambling addicts who lost more than 75k and were “targeted” by the apps and their promotions/personal host

- gamblers under 21 and who signed up while underage - lied about their ages to gain access and lost up to 10k.

Its going to be interesting - the one-two punch of these suits and the rise of Kalshi/Polymarkets could be enough to knock the apps backwards quickly.

Think of the apps like big tobacco in the late 60s-early 70s. They know these suits will drag on forever and will try to defend as long as they can - but a floodgate of potential litigants could prove too much. Plus state governments who they promised billions in new revenue to are seeing a fraction of the promises and feds allowing alternatives could destroy the app monopoly.
