Exactly - if you’re a regular - tip and don’t be an asshole.
People making $11 an hour have long memories - I don’t want to piss them off.
Amazing how much better the service is at a low end bar when you tip a buck on a drink. Ditto at the local Chinese takeout - I tip a buck in the jar for my takeout. Still probably cat - but taste like the better cuts at least - none of that stringy/tough tail meat.

Local move - I’m usually good for $40-50 a man (typically 2 person crew - 4-6 hour job)
If they had to overnight - $100 each.
Always worked out well for me - keep in mind these guys are responsible for turning in their time sheet to their employer. They are paid by the day by the mover flat rate - but mover only charges me for the time they work ($150 an hour - billed every 15 minutes). Usually always get a half hour shaved off the bill - sometimes an hour.
So tipping $80-100 and saves me $75-150.
I’m still getting used to tipping for a haircut - female “stylist” at a chain - yes. Male at a barber shop - nope.
You know you know in all my years of eating Chinese food. I've never tasted anything weird. I think I've been pretty fortunate or I've just been going to some good spots
