• Meta is worth $1.2 trillion
• Instagram is worth $47B
• I'd guess TikTok is worth $30-$40B

Let's say they sell all of TikTok, this means the US will be handling all the accounts of all users from all around the world, right? It's something the Chinese govt would be hesitant to do unless they sell it and delete all Chinese TikTok accounts.

Exactly. No way will the Chinese give up all the data.
Chances are the entire company won't be sold. If anything, just the US chunk of it. Either that or they close shop in the US.

It's gonna be cheap and hassle-free for the US to just immediately ban it. (easy for me to say as I don't have acct on TikTok, sorry for those who use it for business purposes though).
