I think 4 has proven to be too few

We’ve seen some real good teams get left out in the past

I thought when they tweaked it 8 would be just right.

This year is a great example. There just aren’t 12 playoff-worthy teams

But the thing that makes the playoffs fun for me is not only seeing the blue bloods in it’s also giving the SMU’s, Bosie State’s, etc. of the world a shot as well. Before with the four-team playoff, teams like SMU had hardly any shot.

There’s no 100-percent right answer.

But 8 would be just right for me.

The way they are talking about three-loss teams getting into 12-team playoff is all the argument you need against 12-teamer

If you are putting in any 3 loss team in the 12 team field you don’t have a good playoff field. Send the 3 loss teams to a traditional bowl because they are not college football playoff or national championship worthy.

I’ve never understood the quality losses argument at any level. Last I checked you win it or you lose it. If you lose every game by one score you are a bad team.
Nah man Georgia was so feisty in their 28-10 loss at Ole Miss

I was also really impressed with how Alabama battled in that 24-3 loss at Oklahoma! Tough environment, we gotta give them some credit
