You’ll hear the sharps saying “the market gets settled”, “ the market gets more efficient closer to the game”, etc. But I still have been fine waiting line moves out and trying to get the best number near game time. Look at Texans +9.5 last weekend as an example.

Of course if you’ve missed out on a better number for your wager earlier in the week, then passing is best. No sense betting a game late when there was more value earlier.

Betting early also “pot commits” you and that’s not always best when news can surface later. Still though, sharps will try grabbing numbers when they come out and hope they are right more than not.

Books have been off all year. Lines all over the place, teaser action too easy & league outcomes very gambler friendly.

Next year will be a bloodbath for gamblers

Your ignorance the same as Brock.

It takes a certain type of idiot and ignorant bettor to use past results to claim the "books have been off all year"

Knowledgeable bettors like @fishhead will understand what I mean.

Some drop the betting IQ at BMR down quite a bit while others would drop the betting IQ at BMR a lot if it weren't for the fact that everyone knows they are clueless.

It's an age old Forum characterisitic that will never change.

You win the BETONLINE survivor contest this year?

I did

Fvck you

Great, you won a $30 entry contest that requires zero handicapping and offers multiple entries for even cheaper rates that $30.

You just pick the winner with no regard to spreads or moneylines.

Thank you, again, for even further proving my point.

It's the same contest I would have won at circa too guy
2 extra picks there. I played it with circa in mind.

Now talk like you could have done the same and why you chose not to
