99.9 % of the time marijuana doesn’t have this effect on people. This is a rare case, I didn’t read the story, but if she is schizophrenic and smoking marijuana, then that’s a bad combination.

Only a doctor can testify if she's indeed under the influence of the "cannabis-induced psychosis" during the crime, right? How are you going to prove this as a doctor if let's say this is the first time she uses it? What is she's just lying for an alibi?
Any doctor who examined her would have done so weeks if not months later and there is no way they would have been able to tell if psychosis occured.

An expert could come in and say some BS about how psychosis occurs 1 in a 100,000 cases with weed. If the jury/judge agreed with that and thought it brought in reasonable doubt, than no one who is stoned can ever be convicted of murder due to reasonable doubt. Ever.

Note: She was convicted by a jury. But, it was only of manslaughter, not murder. I'm guessing due to the "psychosis" defense. The judge still could have thrown her in jail for manslaughter but didn't. The jury and judge should all be shot by someone who is stoned.... The irony would be, the person who did it shouldn't be thrown in jail since the victims believe its not warranted. :ROFLMAO:

Exactly, Tank. Like for real, how are they going to prove this? Unless she has already recorded medical history.

They need to make changes to their law for this or the same crime will repeat in the future with no prison time.

I don't know anything about this case but I believe marijuana and schizophrenia are definitely a bad combination. I know from real life experience.
