Edmonton absolutely dominated the first period (at one point Florida didn’t get a shot on goal for more than 12 minutes) and early in the second and then Florida came on like mad dogs.

At one point Florida outshot them 23 out of 24 shots on goal to get back into the game.

Florida continued the onslaught in the Edmonton zone most of the third quarter.

McDavid’s brilliance and Edmonton’s ability to finally solve Florida’s stellar penalty kill was the difference tonight
