I saw B.B. King back in the early 70s. To be honest I couldn't wait till show was over. I wasn't really into blues too much at that time and he kept playing and playing endlessly.

I saw this group again early 70s. Stopped at liquor store for a few fifths of blackberry brandy on way to the Orpheum Theater. Train ride home happy drunk almost thrown off. Blacked out of course. Pathetic was I.

Saw this guy in Cambridge MA about this time in a very small club sitting right in front maybe 10 feet away.in case you don't know him he played for a little group called Procol Harum.

Saw this band in concert with early Fleetwood Mac and Hot Tuna playing live in Boston Common. Great concert but I didn't appreciate them like now. This was a strange acid night for me. Always high in those days.

If you get the chance , watch the documentary " Under The Volcano ". Some great footage shot from the Island of Montserrat in the early 80's of The Stones , Dire Straits , Police , Stevie Wonder etc etc. Think you'll enjoy it
