It seems like there's nothing original anymore with Hollywood movies. It seems like it's all remakes and comic book characters. Don't get me wrong, I like the Marvel/DC stuff. It's just in its own genre. I'm looking for something outside that with originality. Finding it hard to watch anything new.

It's disastrously disrespectful, these remakes . I can't think of any off top of head that was good as original.

Typing that I felt like there is a remake I'm forgetting that I thought was decent.

Remaking foreign films often just SUCKS. Some movies, like Oldboy, are perfect as they are.
