Watched the 76ers/Celtics game last night.

Sixers were up over 20 good majority of the game.

Lost by 8.

Fukkin joke.

It was like they just stopped playing and gave up.

What a horrible product the NBA has become.

The playoffs are decent, love focusing on situational unders at the end of a series as I feel like they are not adjusted enough and teams play a lot harder defense in those games.

But that's the point. Shots are SUPPOSED to be contested. You're supposed to play defense.

You're supposed to close the deal when you have the other team out.

The fact that the Celtics were able to come back down from 29 points is disgraceful.

During an NFL game you have around 20 possessions for both teams as compared to the NBA which is around 200 possessions. Since the NFL has about 90% less possessions and a scoring possession on average is 5 points compared to the NBA which is lets say 2.5 points. A 20 point lead is essentially only a 10 point lead in the NFL compared to the NBA if you do the math with my estimated numbers.

They need to bring hand checking back. Once they got rid of that, it made defense almost impossible to play.

Also the evolution of offense completely took off in the early 2010's. Kinda like how pitchers got way ahead of hitters in MLB, some of these NBA players are too talented on offense.
