Kids doing whatever the hell they want - because they see others doing whatever the hell they want across social media.

Is it 100% a parental issue - no. Does a lot of it start there - yes.

I’ve known many fine people who had complete waste of parents - likewise knew a few who would steal their parents blind and do whatever the hell they wanted - parents tried to help - didn’t matter.

Lack of respect for authority - social acceptance and an overstepping authority play a big part too. Every time we see some cop overstepping - it reinforces the belief of these idiots that they are within their “rights” to disobey and do what they feel like.

Many years ago - England had a tier system for assigning students to a high school - you had schools that set you up for University - schools that prepared you for a trade and schools that basically taught you to read/write and become a laborer the next 30 years assuming you were killed or locked up. We need to adopt that system here - those that want to learn will be able - those who want a trade can learn one - the rest can learn to fend for themselves.
