That damn thing is tightly protected now - air tight case with specialized lighting that won’t cause it to fade.

Never understood the “protest” attacks on the Mona Lisa - it’s an old painting and really not that impressive.

But that’s Paris for you - setting the trends years ahead of millennials getting angry over any perceived discrimination/slight of any “minority”.

France is a beautiful country and Paris is one of the greatest cities in the world - but like Boston and San Francisco here in the US - it’s ruined by a portion of the population that tries to control the majority. Never got it - you’re in one of the most beautiful cities in the world and you want to be angry about something constantly - why ?

They should put them in prison but make them work a job like, shoveling coal into a furnace or similar. The irony might be lost on them though.

It would be a French prison - no exactly comparable to doing time in the US or being shipped off to Siberia.

Keep in mind this is a country with a 32 hour work week - retirement in your 50s and generally views Socialism as a good thing.

I have no problem with protesting but this is in no way how to handle doing it. This is disgusting and repulsive.
