I remember it being something about making the Masters seem like it was part of "Nature" or some BS like that.

A guy who knows birds said the bird sounds being heard on the broadcast are not indeginous to that area. Can't find the article.

Its also rumored the grass is painted and the water colored to provide a more beautiful scene for TV. Not sure if that is true or not.
