Anyone consider boosting their security with The Ledger Recovery Program?

I think it abput 20-30 beans a month.

I haven't lost my lenghty "recovery phrase" yet, but its probable an accident waiting to happen.

Why not just properly secure your seed and recovery phrase?


Conversely, if you really want an independent backup, give half the seed to one friend/relative and half to another (that doesn't know the first friend or is another trusted relative) and your all set without having to give the info out to 3 other software companies.

Trezor has legacy segwit capabilities in case you pass unexpectedly. If you don't login after "X" period of time, the coins will go to another Trezor account that you pick (i.e. an heir).

Not sure if Ledger has that.
