Go Tx State...Pac-12 brethren.
I liked them when the line opened at -10 but dayam.... its -19.5 now.....
Only 3-point Bobcat lead at half.

Total yards almost even. Pretty much par for the course for this season that had loftier expectations coming in.

back in the day the bowls were a good way to see teams you never really saw. i loved having all the choices on NYD and flicking back and forth. now you can see any team in any game all season.

playoffs make the one day nostalgia of NYD impossible and really who cares about any other bowls outside of playoffs. sure some might be fun to bet but that can't be the main reason.

i like the idea of 16 teams by king. you have 8 games NYD. 8 home games by 8 highest seeds. then you are down to 8 teams. the next 4 games are on the weekend that is at least a week away from NYD. all 4 highest seeds get home games again. then 2 games the following week and championship the week after. i would do these semi-final and final games on pre-determined fields. you can rotate orange, rose, sugar, salt, pepper, pop tart, etc bowl names.

all games on saturdays after NYD games. saturdays should be for college anyway.

there is incentive to get the home games for $$$$.

you dont have any other teams not in the playoffs to worry about with opt outs and transfers.

no bullshit meaningless games for exposure.

Eventually you guys will get what you want and bowls will be eliminated with the playoffs possibly expanding to 16 or maybe even more than that. The playoffs aren't perfect but they've been good this year so I think they should stick with 12. Hopefully they figure out a way to get the 12 best teams in though because some of the games were terrible. As for the bowls I think they'll get eliminated because half the players don't care and some of the teams are now declining invitations so you get these crappy matchups that nobody wants to see.

Only way to keep them is by following Ncaa hoops’ players era tourney

Those teams played their asses off, ran up huge margins of victory. Players era had NIL money for the winners, so they were motivated. do the same with the bowls, make it an NIT type bracket, non playoff teams accept or refuse bids. final four guaranteed money, winner guaranteed the main NIL purse or cash bonuses to all players on winning team
