If you’re gonna ride streaks you gotta bet them overnight you will save yourself a lot of money before the public gets their hands on them.

I really don't see how you can bet against them right now.

Tonight vs Mets, the Braves have the better starter and better recent hitting/scoring. The only thing that seem equivalent on a stats sheet is their relief pitching and even that is a very slight edge towards the Braves.

Add that to the momentum factor and how leveraging this series is for the Braves.... They seem like the best play.

After this series, the Mets have the easiest schedule through the rest of the season (based on opponents W/L) so the Braves better catch them in the standings now.

Wow. Lookng at historical performance by Morton and Walker vs their opponents today, it makes an even stronger case for ATL

So everything points to ATL. Does that mean we fade? You know what they say about a sure thing.:lmao:

Walker got rocked by the Braves two starts ago 1.0 inning 8 runs two home runs
But he bounced back vs Nationals next out and is 10-3.
it’s actually a tough game to handicap. It’s like horse racing you see a good horse have a clunker and you say throw out that race.

I think the answer about Walker's recent pitching performance is related to the teams he was pitching against.

Last ~2 weeks:
WAS is an average hitting team: AVG 0.254 (15th in MLB)
ATL is a great hitting team: AVG 0.306 (1st in MLB)

He ran into a juggernaut of batters from ATL then had an easier assignment against the NATS. That could possibly explain the bounce back.
