Nice to see - brings back to mind an era when home run balls weren’t freaking powerball jackpots.

Would be super interesting case I think if the kid who got the ball tried to sell it and didn’t at least offer to split with the fan who caught it. If you give a gift to a stranger - are you permitted to set conditions on its sale ? Sorry - been in court all morning and the most super uninteresting contract case so this is how my mind is working at the moment.

But the fan decided not to be a major douche - gave the kid the ball (regardless if he realized it was #60 or not) and the kid will never forget an act of kindness. THAT is what the game needs to bring fans back. MLB needs to issue this man a golden ticket pass.
