Taylor Swift fans were seeing red on Tuesday when Ticketmaster was overwhelmed by demand as pre-sales for the singer's new tour went online. The delays had many fans believing they would never, ever, get tickets (...like ever). But tickets to the pop star's "The Eras Tour" were available Wednesday via the resale market - with some priced at tens of thousands of dollars.

Tickets for Swift's show at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey on May 26 are listed for as much as $21,600 each on ticket resale site StubHub.

I spent 7 hours online Tuesday trying to get my daughter tickets to this show during presale hours.
Ticketmaster sucks completely.

System crashed for 4 hours. Then when it came back up you waited in the queue for 2 hours and when it came time to buy tickets, the pre-sale code they provided you did not work. 7 hours wasted.

Now people who bought $600 tickets are reselling them for $10k-$20k. SMH.

Ticketmaster is a monopoly and congress should regulate their a$$.

I can’t stand Ticketmaster the fee’s suck and back in the day you could go to box office buy tickets at said venue.
That was then and this is now even sporting events can’t buy tickets any other way.
Technology has deluded or fun. Also people pay these outrageous prices and think nothing of it.
I think the term one percenters has probably increased to 5 percenters and the middle class is being left behind.

No shit l went to minor league baseball go to box office pay plastic only give my email. Then they say will be in my email within 5-10 minutes.

In 1971 l saw Led Zeppelin it $4.50 in advance $5.00 at the door we bought at the door. Was a good show only bummer was Robert Plant apologized for new album not released yet(they opened their tour in Hawaii sure they got there a week early) so l heard Stairway to heaven When the levy’s break and other songs for the first time.
And used to go to A’s games for $3 bleacher seats. Being a cranky old man fuckk this shit.

Taylor swift tickets for NRG Stadium (Houston Texans play there), $99 for the worst possible seats. $320 for lower bowl seats. $700 for floor seats. You could get VIP seats for additional fee.

And they’ve bought up all the competition so they have no incentive to improve.

I used to have ticketfly down to a science. Knew how to tune it perfectly and get the seats I wanted. They serviced my favorite austin venue, the 3,000 seat ACL Moody Theater. But ticketfly bought them
